Maddie will be starting at First Choice Allied Health in 2023 as a Graduate Speech Pathologist. Originally from Hanoi, Vietnam, she completed a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University in 2022.

Through her clinical placements, Maddie has experience in areas such as pediatric feeding, gender-affirming voice training and supporting communication development in children with disabilities. She strives to provide holistic and patient-centred care through having an individualised approach to each client and encouraging family to participate and collaborate throughout the client’s journey. More importantly, she also prioritises building a strong foundation of trust in all her clients, as well as continually up-skilling herself to provide the best evidence-based care possible.

Maddie’s main interest is promoting speech and language development, literacy and social communication for all children. In her spare time, Maddie enjoys reading, hiking and exploring Melbourne’s food scene.
